Initial Hardware Purchase
When purchasing Band24 devices for the first time, the initial invoice typically includes:
Hardware devices
Shipping costs
Any accessories added to the order
If eligible, the two complimentary device offer will automatically apply during checkout.
90-Day Platform Access
After purchasing devices, new accounts receive 90 days of complimentary access to the Ranger dashboard.
During this period, teams can:
Deploy and assign devices
Test asset tracking workflows
Configure SmartSites, alerts, and groups
Evaluate the platform within their operational environment
No asset licensing fees are charged during this time.
Annual Asset Licensing
After the 90 day access period ends, the Ranger platform transitions to the standard annual licensing model.
For Business plans, licensing is $24 per asset per year.
Each active asset associated with your deployment requires an annual license to continue reporting activity within Ranger.
Adding Additional Assets
Additional assets can be added at any time during your subscription period.
When assets are added during an active billing cycle:
New licenses are prorated for the remainder of the current billing period
The licenses are included in the next annual renewal
This allows organizations to expand their deployment without waiting for the next billing cycle.
Billing Visibility
Account administrators can view billing information directly within the Ranger dashboard, including:
Active subscription details
Billing history
Account invoices
