This is your chance to try Band24 in your business, with your teams and your assets, before any subscription fees begin. This article walks through when your free access starts, what you pay upfront, what happens when it ends, and how to manage devices along the way.
What you get
For the full 90 days you have complete access to the Band24 platform with no feature limits. Every new account also includes two complimentary devices, a $48 value, so you can begin testing right away. There is no separate trial tier or reduced feature set. What you evaluate during your free access is the full product.
When your free access begins
Your free access period begins 14 days after checkout. We include this 14-day setup window for shipping and delivery, so your free 90 days do not start until you’re ready to deploy.. You can sign in and start configuring your account at ranger.band24.com as soon as you check out, but the 90-day clock does not begin until the grace period ends.
What you pay upfront
Your software cost is $0 during the 90-day free access period. At checkout, you only pay for any additional hardware beyond your two complimentary devices (devices plus tax) and shipping. Your two complimentary devices are yours to keep, with no returns required.
What happens after your free period
If you do not cancel before the end of the free access period, your account is automatically enrolled in a 12-month Band24 Business subscription. Billing starts the day your free access ends, at $24 per asset per year ($2 per asset per month, billed annually). Your subscription covers the total number of active devices associated with your account during the free period, including your two complimentary devices. The day your free access ends becomes your annual renewal date going forward.
Adding devices during your free access
You can add devices at any time during your free period, including your grace period, and adding them does not change your enrollment date or extend your free time. When your paid plan starts, every device you activated and associated with your account during the free period is licensed as part of your first-year subscription total.
Adding devices to a paid plan
You can add devices at any time during a paid year, and this does not change your annual renewal date. New devices receive prorated asset licenses that align to your existing renewal, so everything on your account renews together on the same date. When you add devices mid-term, you pay for devices up front and we charge a one-time prorated amount for the months remaining in your current term.
Cancelling during your free access period
You can cancel at any time during your free access period with no penalty and no subscription fees. To cancel, email [email protected] with “Subscription Cancellation Request” in the subject line, or use the billing portal in Ranger at ranger.band24.com/billing. Once your free access ends and your account is automatically enrolled into a standard business plan, and you are committed to the full 12-month term. Subscriptions cannot be cancelled mid-term.
A note on your devices
Device purchases are final. Your devices are yours to keep and no returns are required. They are non-returnable and non-refundable, including if you cancel during your free access. Devices rely on an active subscription to function, so they will stop tracking if your subscription is cance
